Regulated kids

Parents with something left in the tank

I help Newcastle families understand what’s going on with their nervous systems, from the little ones who never seem to switch off to the parents running on empty right beside them.

Sound familiar?

For your kids

  • Bedtime feels like a battle every night

  • Big emotions over the smallest things

  • Always on the go, or wiped out after school

  • Working really hard just to keep up

For you

  • Wired at night, flat by 3pm

  • Shoulders that never quite drop, tension that never leaves your Jaw

  • A shorter fuse than you’d like, reacting rather than responding

  • Running on coffee and willpower (But mostly Tim-Tams)

You’ve probably tried everything; all the trends, what your friends did, you’ve been down the classic routes. But you still feel like theres something deeper going on…

It’s not bad behaviour

It’s not “just stress”

It’s the Nervous System

Every nervous system, big or small, is built to switch on when life gets hard and switch off when it’s over. For a lot of families, the “off” switch rarely gets a turn.

Busy mornings, school, screens, work, broken sleep. It stacks up for kids and parents alike. Over time it shows up in how everyone sleeps, copes and connects.

I look at health through the nervous system first, because it runs everything else. And I look at the whole family, because nobody’s stress lives in isolation.

Who I See

A man smiling and waving while holding a young boy with brown hair and fair skin, who is also smiling and making a peace sign with his hand. The man is wearing a short-sleeved button-up shirt with a palm tree pattern, and the boy is dressed in a light shirt and dark shorts. They are indoors against plain walls.

Gentle, nervous-system-focused care adapted to every age and stage, from little ones to teenagers.

Kids & Teens

A chiropractor adjusts a man's neck during a session, both smiling and in a clinical setting with a white wall and a poster in the background.

Mums & Dads

For the parents holding it all together who’d like to feel less frazzled while they do it

A man with short light brown hair and a dark green shirt is smiling while performing a medical or chiropractic adjustment on another man with a beard, lying on a treatment table. The setting appears to be a medical or chiropractic office with a large window in the background.

Accountants, lawyers, engineers, managers: anyone whose brain is always on and whose body is paying for it. Desk hours, deadlines and late nights take a toll on the nervous system.

Busy Professionals

I’m a neurologically focused, family chiropractor and the owner of Healing Wave Chiropractic in Newcastle. My favourite days in clinic are the ones where a whole family comes through the door: kids bouncing off the walls, mum and dad close behind, everyone a bit more settled on the way out.

For years I promoted the clinic, not myself, because care should be about the person on the table. I still believe that. But when you’re trusting someone with your kids, you want to know who they are first. So here I am.

Outside of practice you’ll find me training, at the beach, volunteering with the team at Soul Hub, and trying to practise what I preach

Hi I’m Conor

A person in a blue shirt is receiving a chiropractic adjustment while lying face down on an adjusting table, with another person in a gray shirt standing beside them. They are in a room separated by a wooden room divider, with a poster of the autonomic nervous system and a tall green plant in the background.

What happens when you come in?

We align technical insight with disciplined execution to provide measurable gains across operational, financial, and strategic domains.

01
We Talk

About what’s going on for your child or you, how long it’s been happening, and what you’ve already tried.

02
We Test

A thorough, gentle assessment, including an INSiGHT Neurological scan. It’s quick, painless and kid-friendly, and it shows how the nervous system is handling stress.

03
We Plan

I’ll walk you through what I found in plain English. If I think I can help, I’ll show you what care would look like. If not, I’ll tell you that too.
